GoLang Senior Software Engineer/Architect

ParkMyCloud is a SaaS platform that connects to the cloud and enables users to automatically reduce their cloud costs by shutting down resources when they are not in use. It’s like Nest for the cloud! In just a few years we have rapidly grown to over 850 customers, secured funding, and are now looking for a great technical mind to join the team.

PLEASE – if you do not have actual Go coding experience on more than just academic projects, please do not apply for this position. We are seeking an experienced GoLang developer.

Critical skills:

  • 2-3 years’ experience developing server software in Go
  • 1-2 years’ experience with Python
  • 1-3 years’ experience working with SQL databases, preferably MySQL
  • Familiar with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud technology
  • Software Engineering with emphasis on web commerce, SaaS, MySQL, Amazon Web Services, Angular.JS, Nginx and Apache2 REST APIs, Ubuntu or Debian Linux.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology or similar
  • Ability to work with a team of developers working in a fast-paced Agile Development environment, doing what it takes to meet challenging deadlines at Startup Speed.

Desired/bonus skills:

  • AWS certification
  • Familiar with AWS services, such as AWS Lambda, RDS/Aurora, SQS, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudWatch
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, IBM, etc.
  • Helped evolve a team to DevOps CI/CD release process
  • Familiar with integrations for Slack, GitHub, and Jenkins.
  • Bachelor’s degree in software or technical-related field
  • Strong understanding of MySQL database design, implementation and performance tuning.
  • Good understanding of data analytics and NoSQL databases.
  • Startup experience.


  • Preferred: 2-3 days/week at ParkMyCloud office in Dulles, VA
  • Acceptable: Remote, but able to travel to ParkMyCloud office at least 1-2 times per month, depending on the distance.

Digital Marketing Specialist

Digital Marketing Specialist

ParkMyCloud is a fast-growing SaaS startup that helps enterprises automatically identify and eliminate wasted cloud spend. We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in Dulles, VA.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will drive growth by generating new leads and optimizing conversion through the funnel. He or she will execute integrated marketing campaigns across channels and mediums, including but not limited to email, paid advertising, content development, social media, and events. The successful candidate thrives as a self-starter who can manage, execute and report on a variety of concurrent projects.


  • Email marketing– create and execute outbound email campaigns. Manage automated drip campaigns. Manage lead database and organization. Build and manage accurate contact segments for various email campaigns. Use best practices to optimize deliverability, open rates, and clickthrough.
  • Social media – Post regularly to the ParkMyCloud social media channels, grow following and engage with followers for brand awareness and demand generation.
  • Content development – Contribute to the ParkMyCloud blog with attention to SEO principles. Create or lead the creation of other content such as case studies and white papers for Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, and Partnerships.
  • Website management – Manage ParkMyCloud website content and coordinate design updates and testing. Perform A/B testing and monitor for continual improvement.
  • Event planning – coordinate company sponsorship and participation in trade show events.
  • Analytics and reporting– Define regular metrics and communication of lead goals including quarterly business review summaries. Manage performance reporting and analysis – using data to further optimize the campaigns.
  • Other duties as assigned – no two days are the same at a startup – agility and adaptability will take you far. We’re looking for someone who will take initiative to brainstorm and create new ideas for strategies and tactics.


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-5 years B2B marketing experience
  • CRM and marketing automation experience. Current platforms used include Act-On, Salesforce, DiscoverOrg, Google Analytics, WordPress, etc.
  • Experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Experience using hard data and metrics to measure performance and make adjustments accordingly
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management, and problem solving skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally for conferences
  • Bonus skills include: SaaS/software/cloud industry knowledge, PPC expertise, graphic design skills, and/or Conversion Rate Optimization experience

ParkMyCloud is a VC-backed, 3-year old startup based in Northern Virginia, and has just been named one of the 10 Hottest Cloud Startups in 2018 by CRN. Customers include McDonald’s, Unilever, Fox, Fanatics, and more.

The Job

You will speak with marketing qualified prospects, most of whom are are already interested in what ParkMyCloud offers, explain our innovative solution, secure demos, follow up, and close deals.


  • You’ll be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual goals using the latest phone and web-based sales tools and techniques.
  • You will build direct relationships with customers and prospects to drive new business opportunities.
  • You will work closely with and leverage ParkMyCloud’s selected channel partners to maximize revenue opportunities.

What You’ll Learn

You’ll also become fluent in the language of B2B tech along the way – Cloud (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure & Google Compute) and DevOps (Atlassian, Jenkins & Slack), and learn how to use tools like SalesForce, DiscoverOrg and other SaaS tools.
